Between an unwelcome amount of snow and the general ongoing state of affairs, I could use a good laugh … or at the very least, a a chortle or even a chuckle. At this point, I’m willing to settle for a smile—it doesn’t even have to show teeth. So really. this Top Ten Tuesday. could not have come at a better time. This week, the theme is focused on funny books, and it’s genuinely been great sifting through some favorites that have brought me nothing but joy. Some are plain silly and others really build to land a single joke, but all have hilarious moments.

My friend told me I need to read that Stephanie Plume series. I didn’t realize it was funny. That’s awesome.

Yes, it is very funny Deanna. I should have added it to my list.

I am making a list of funny books today. I just realized that I hardly ever read funny books and everything right now seems so serious. Here’s my list.

Over this past year, I found myself moving away from funny books, but lately I’ve been getting more into them again. They’ve been a great distraction with everything else going on.

I haven’t read any of these! Considering I couldn’t really come up with 10 books for this week, I think I need to read these posts!

I thought it was going to be harder to come up with ten, but apparently I have a very easy sense of humor.

I haven’t heard of or read any of these books but I love the cover for Dealing with Dragons and The Quiche of Death looks like it’d be a great read, too (I now also want quiche)! 😃

I was looking forward to your TTT post for this week! And as usual, found some lovely suggestions here. Happy Hock Family looks great! And I’d only heard of Lemony Snicket’s Unfortunate Events, but Horseradish looks too good to miss. Thanks!

I love Janet Evanovich and Douglas Adams! Hitchhiker’s Guide is actually my favorite book ever. But Home Cooking is something I need to look into now – I love to cook!
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!

As usual, your top ten will add a half dozen books or so to my TBR. The covers and titles are even funny on some of these.

It was so funny in both an absurd yet somehow understated way. Very hard to explain, but it really was a riot.
