It’s the middle of the week, so that means it’s time for Can’t-Wait Wednesday. Each week I’ll spotlight amazing future releases that … well, that I just can’t wait for. It’s a feature hosted by Tressa over at Wishful Endings, so be sure to check out her weekly post to find other participants. Fair warning: you’re sure to walk away with an expanded TBR pile.
Today I’m waiting for…

I love quirky books. So when I came across the cover for Sauerkraut by Kelly Jones, I just knew that it had the kind of quirk factor I’m always on the lookout for. The blurb confirmed my hunch.
HD Schenk plans on entering a homemade computer in the county fair. While cleaning out his uncle’s basement to raise money for spare parts, he hears a voice. Turns out, it’s his great-great-grandmother who haunts a pickling crock … and she wants HD to enter her famous sauerkraut recipe in the fair so she can be declared “pickle queen”.
This book has everything I love. An inventor. A haunted pickling crock. A county fair. Sauerkraut!
And I can’t wait to read it.

Hehehehehe – a pickling crock. Well, I searched all over my house for a ghost but I have not checked the pickling crock! I’ll let you know what I find!! 😉 This sounds terrific Christopher!

All I’m saying is any house with a pickling crock just might be haunted.
