WWW Wednesday – 01/02/2019 Edition

Happy New Year to all! And as it’s the first Wednesday of the new year, it’s time for another round of WWW Wednesday. Like the name suggests, it’s all about the three Ws.

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

If you feel like joining in, head over to the Taking on a World of Words post for this Wednesday, drop a link to your own post, and take a look at some of the other blogs participating. Just don’t be surprised if your TBR pile grows a bit.

Here’s what’s going on with my reading this week.

Currently Reading

Coming Home to Holly Close Farm
by Julie Houston

Finding Dorothy
by Elizabeth Letts

Two strong books are bringing me into the new year. Julie Houston is a new favorite author of mine, and while Elizabeth Letts’s work is new to me, she’s writing about one of my favorite subjects: The Wizard of Oz.

Recently Read

In My Mind’s Eye

Stunning failures and breezy musings— just like me.

Coming Up Next

Ruby in the Sky
by Jeanne Zulick Ferruolo

The Happiness Project
by Pippa Jame

I generally don’t pick books based on covers, but these two are gorgeous. Of course, I’m sure the contents are as well.

Happy reading!

  1. That’s quite a variety of books! I decided to request Ruby in the Sky and Netflix said I had already requested it. I don’t remember the summary or beautiful cover at all. In the process though, I made my way to Pay Attention, Carter Jones, also for middle schoolers. It focuses partly on cricket, but I decided to give it a shot since the hockey book ended up working well for you! Enjoy your upcoming reads and Happy New Year!
